A Science Fiction movie like Real Buddy demands not only for exquisite sets and costumes to create the impression of a future world. It´s also in need for great props for the actor´s to work with. This is Ralf Burmester´s responsibility. He is the enthusiast who spent hundreds of hours bringing the director´s cinematic vision to life. It was Ralf Burmester who actually had to build futuristic but credible guns, computers, furniture, helmets and many more things demanded by the script. Also, Ralf is always in charge for the "final touch" of our sets, aging surfaces and adding little electronic gadgets and wizardry for the backgrounds, quite often assisted by his girlfriend, Andrea Münzberg.

Ralf Burmester graduated with Frank Mirbach at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. After working on several short films and movies, he specialized in propmaking with his own workshop. That Ralf is one of Europe´s most talented prop artists can be understood when one visits his home. The whole house is decorated with movie props Ralf has built himself.
