The character of Mad Vic combining religious paranoia and violent insanity is a welcome artistic challenge for an actor like Andreas Stoek. For an outstanding artist like him who dedicates himself completely to a project that grasps his creative and intellectual interest it is no contradiction to play a role in a stage play or in a splatter movie. In Real Buddy Stoek who has been studying performing arts at well-known Vienna Conservatory and in John Coustopulo’s Hollywood Acting Workshop Stoek gives a stunning performance as the menacing inmate Mad Vic who is pursuing his own obscure targets.
