Mark Warnecke

As the head of the lighting department gaffer Mark Krishna Warnecke is in command of the enormous machinery necessary to bring light into the dark futuristic world portrayed in Real Buddy. It proved to be a welcome challenge for the 35-years old chief lighting technician to realize the film noir like lighting concept director and cinematographer Frank Mirbach developed in style of film classics like Blade Runner or Alien. Being a cinematographer and independent director himself, Mark Krishna Warnecke brings along great cinematic expertise for the benefit of the film’s visual atmosphere. Having studied visual communication/film at the art academy Kassel Mark Krishna Warnecke has realized multiple short films for which he has been nominated for film awards like the highly respected “Golden Hercules”.
